“It is hard to fail, but it is worse never to
have tried to succeed.”
We’re a husband-and-wife team with a heart for families and a passion for igniting purpose, creativity, and community in the next generation. We believe that every child is uniquely gifted, and it’s our mission to help them grow in wisdom, strength, and faith.
We’re raising four amazing children who love the Lord and thrive in an environment of connection and curiosity. As North Georgia natives, we both graduated from local high schools—Creekview and South Forsyth—and met 15 years ago on a mission trip to the Philippines. Our journey together continued at the University of Georgia, where Miranda studied Special Education and Chase studied Finance and Management Information Systems.
We’ve served side-by-side in various ministries and mentorship programs over these last 15 years together — from toddler rooms to high school small groups, mentoring youth through the Whatever It Takes program in Athens, and The Intersect Project in Atlanta Public Schools. Every step has confirmed our calling: to serve the next generation with love, truth, and purpose.
Miranda began her career in the Fulton County School System as a special education teacher, building inclusive classrooms at both Centennial and Riverwood International Charter School. Now she pours her heart full-time into our home and children. Chase currently manages The Driving Club at Road Atlanta until the fall, and brings a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset to everything we build together.
Our interest in alternative education grew out of our desire to find a path that truly nurtures the whole child—spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. What started as a personal journey has grown into a calling.
We are now planting a learning pod and community education hub in North Forsyth—an environment where our family can thrive and, more importantly, where we can serve other families seeking the same. To bring this vision to life, we’ve partnered with Apogee Strong, a like-minded organization that champions education rooted in family, freedom, and sovereignty.
We stand on the Word and believe every child has a calling on their life. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” – Ephesians 2:10
As The FireKeepers, our role is to tend to the flame—preserving what is sacred, igniting passion for truth, and guiding families toward a life of purpose and legacy. We’re honored to be a part of this journey with you.
Do you share our vision for the next generation's education?
We're looking for lead and assistant coaches that will help carry the fire and steward it well.
